Get to know our new Home Move Adviser - Chantelle Knight

This week we welcomed our new Home Move Adviser, Chantelle Knight, to the Sort Move team. As part of her new start with us, we spent some time getting to know Chantelle personally. She shared some interesting stories and her reasons for joining the team. Check out our Q&A blog below! 

What attracted you to Sort Move?

What did you do before joining Sort Move?

Before joining Sort Move, I studied Law whilst working as an advisor in the Student Legal Advice Centre handling family law matters.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

• Witnessing the business expand and develop.
• Entering a new field and becoming accustomed to the world of conveyance.

Where would it be and why if you could live anywhere in the world?

South Africa! The safaris are a vibe. The vineyards are also a HUGE VIBE!

 Who inspires you?

I want to emulate my ancestral streak of success. My Great-Great Grandfather (Candido Joao Da-Rocha Afodu) is considered the first millionaire of Nigeria who fled as a slave to the Bahia region of Brazil.

What would your dream home look like if money was no object?

The White House

Tell us something few people know about you?

My late Grandfather (Maurice Pedro Da-Rocha Afodu) was an avid polo player who was 'good' friends with Prince William of Gloucester (The Queen's 1st cousin!)

What's your favourite movie of all time?

Schindler's List

What do you feel you can bring to Sort Move?

A skill set which is compatible with the role. Innovation, Drive, and Tact.
